Hi, I'm Rui Afonso Pereira. I'm a Software Engineer, who builds low-latency distributed systems.

Previously, I led trading infrastructure at Anchorage Digital, and led the Web team at Fyde (zero-trust security, acquired by Barracuda).

I run a homelab, mostly because I like owning the machines my data lives on. It's a useful testbed with a lower-stakes on-call rotation.
